Refund policy

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.


1. Major vs Minor Failures


  • Major Failure: If a product is significantly different from the description, is substantially unfit for purpose, or is unsafe, you are entitled to your choice of a refund or replacement.

  • Minor Failure: If the problem is minor (e.g., small packaging dent that does not affect a collectible's grade if not sold as 'mint'), we may choose to offer a repair or replacement instead of a refund.


2. Change of Mind
Please choose carefully. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for "change of mind" on the following items due to their nature:


  • Individual trading card singles.

  • Third-party graded slabs (PSA, BGS, CGC).

  • Factory-sealed booster packs, boxes, or cases (to ensure tamper-proof integrity for our customers).


3. Return Shipping
Fake Out will cover the cost of return shipping if the item is confirmed to have a major failure under the ACL. For any voluntary returns accepted at our discretion, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.
